The Xiphos Q7/Q7S is a popular processor board for the Space Domain. Equipped with a Zynq 7000 and peripheral circuits it provides a Dual-core Arm Cortex-A9 MPCore, FPGA, various communication interfaces and radiation protection features. This is a very economical option for a space OBC, with dozens of units already in orbit.

RTEMS is a Real-Time Operating System established and widely used in the Space Domain for decades. It is the one and only Open Source Operating System that is prequalified according to ECSS Cat. B. This Package includes a pre-configured RTEMS that is adapted to the hardware and to the firmware of the Q7 Board by a custom software library. It allows to operate RTEMS flawlessly with the protection features of the Q7 board and with its communication interfaces.
