The NXP Freeway LS1046A evaluation board is a cost optimized development platform for the Layerscape LS1046A SoC with four ARM Cortex-A72 cores. This SoC is software compatible to the radiation hardened Teledyne LS1046. The board is equipped with DDR4 memory, Gigabit Ethernet, USB3.0, PCIe and various other interfaces.
RTEMS is a Real-Time Operating System established and widely used in the Space Domain for decades. It is the one and only Open Source Operating System that is pre-qualified according to ECSS Cat. B. This Package includes a pre-configured RTEMS that is adapted to the hardware and to the firmware of the Freeway LS1046A board by a custom software library. It allows to operate RTEMS flawlessly with the board and with its communication interfaces.
