For the development of your next embedded product, take advantage of our broad know-how and our results-oriented design process. A special feature is the (optional) rapid prototyping phase. Our special platform SaLTShaker makes possible the assembly of a lab prototype with the desired core functions within a few days. This allows not only early software tests and investigation of system behavior, but also a real demonstration of the planned system functionality. Important findings can then be quickly incorporated into development, thus avoiding rounds of redesign.
Specification
In the first phase, we listen first and foremost.
- What do you want, what do you need?
- What core functionalities make up your product?
- Which additional functions are possible and useful?
- What basic functionality should the system be based on?
- But also: How can the product develop further and how long should it be available?
At the end of this phase, there is a customized, jointly understood functional specification and also a project team made up of our employees with their specific areas of expertise, supplemented if necessary by external project partners from our network.
Rapid Prototyping
If desired, we use our rapid prototyping platform SaLTShaker, for example, to be able to demonstrate the most important system functions from finished modules at an early stage. The advantages of this are
- early confirmation of the product idea
- adaptation of the specification on the basis of the prototyping results
- extensive parallelization of software and hardware development
- and: nothing is more convincing than an already functioning prototype!
HW/SW development
The same applies to both hardware and software: Detailed development runs according to our proven development process, with firmly scheduled reviews and tests to safely reach the goal: Your functional samples suitable for series production.
For hardware development, we use tried and tested modules wherever it makes sense to do so. However, we also develop special functions from scratch. This is how we efficiently arrive at a tailor-made system design.
For software development, we have various platforms available, favoring open source products for both operating systems and function libraries.
Series production
If you wish, together with our long-term partners, we can also take over the serial production of your product, including final testing, packaging and logistics.
Product maintenance
An important addition to series production is series-accompanying product support. Standards change, components are discontinued, changes to the product are requested.
As part of product support, we adapt the design, take care of renewed acceptance tests and the seamless production launch of the updated product.
