This workshop serves as a forum for presenting position papers followed by discussions between ESA and the space industry, as well as among the participants.

Our goal was to maintain customer relations, showcase our latest developments in the field of RTEMS, and gain insights into what customers truly need. Turnkey SDKs for RTEMS and platform-specific RTEMS qualification were in high demand. As expected, topics like security and mixed-criticality concepts are increasingly coming into focus.

In addition to engaging with existing customers, we also had the chance to meet long-time contacts from ESA and various projects, whom we had only known through conference calls until now. The exchange with other hardware and software manufacturers was equally valuable, and potential collaborations are currently being discussed. The personal interaction in a friendly atmosphere ensures a trustworthy foundation for fruitful future cooperation.
