On 4 July 2025, embedded brains celebrated its 20th anniversary.
But instead of a big stage and formal speeches, we marked the occasion in true embedded brains fashion: together, with dedication, a strong sense of team spirit – and a focus on what truly matters to us.
Rather than toasting with sparkling wine, we kicked off our anniversary by helping care for a protected wetland area – in cooperation with the LBV (Bavarian Society for the Protection of Birds).
Why? Because we not only value efficiency and sustainability in our embedded systems – we also believe in giving back to nature, in line with our commitment to long-term sustainability.
In the moorland northwest of Munich, we raked off the cuttings by hand to help maintain the soil’s low nutrient levels – a crucial condition for rare native plants such as Comarum palustre and Primula farinosa to thrive. Invasive species like Himalayan balsam and overgrown blackberry bushes also got our full attention that day. The collected cuttings were picked up by a local farmer and repurposed – contributing to a sustainable circular system.
After all that physical effort, our “escape” from the Escape Room felt almost relaxing – though, just like in our day-to-day work, it required creativity, teamwork, and brainpower. The day ended with a well-earned dinner, where we raised our glasses to 20 years of technology, collaboration and curiosity.
20 years of embedded brains – that’s not just two decades of driving industrial development. It’s also a commitment to our environment, our society, and our team.
We’re excited for everything that lies ahead.
